Laundry refers to items that need to be washed whether clothes or other fabric and textiles. Modern laundry appliances are categorized as top loading or front loading. The differences lie in the doors used for loading and the spinning direction.

If you are staying in an apartment, hotel or dormitory which does not have its own laundry, the only way to wash your clothes is to go to a commercial laundromat. Commercial and self-service laundromats are facilities where you can have your clothes washed and dried on your own or by the laundromat’s staff. You only need to pay a specific rate or put in the correct amount into the money slots to be able to use the washing machines and dryers.
